This notice covers visits to our website and contact with Softup. Processing of data within a client project is governed by the terms agreed for that project.

E-Mail: info@softup.co
You can contact us at this address with questions about your personal data or to exercise your rights.
2. Website delivery and security
Our website is hosted by Vercel. When you visit it, technically necessary information such as your IP address, the requested URL, time of access, browser information and, where applicable, the referring page is processed. This enables us to deliver the content, diagnose errors and protect against misuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and reliable website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Information about the provider and data processing: Vercel Privacy Notice. The fonts used on this website are served locally with the website files.
3. Cookie settings and consent
We use Cookiebot from Usercentrics A/S, Denmark, to save your choices and manage consent. For this purpose, your choices and technical information about your browser and the consent process are processed. This fulfils our obligations to manage and document consent (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). Technically necessary access to your device is based on Section 25(2) TDDDG; optional access requires your consent under Section 25(1) TDDDG.
You can change your choices or withdraw consent for the future at any time. Details about detected cookies and their duration are available in the cookie settings. Further information: Cookiebot Privacy Policy.
4. Optional website analytics
If you consent to the “Statistics” category, we use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how our pages are used. Page paths, referring websites, browsers, device types and approximate regions may be included in aggregated reports. The integration removes URL query parameters and fragments before sending page views. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Analytics is not activated without consent to Statistics. After consent is withdrawn, subsequent analytics events are discarded. Further information: Vercel Web Analytics – Privacy.
5. Enquiries and appointment bookings
If you write to us or book an appointment, we process the contact, company and conversation details you provide to answer your enquiry and prepare the appointment. Pre-contractual enquiries are processed under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; other business communications are based on our legitimate interest in handling your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Our booking links lead to Calendly or Google Calendar. You visit the external service only when you open the link. The provider’s privacy information then also applies: Calendly and Google. Alternatively, you can contact us directly by email.
6. Maps, media and external links
Our About page includes a map from OpenStreetMap. When the map loads, the provider receives technical connection data, including your IP address. We use the map to show our location (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Information: OpenStreetMap Foundation Privacy Policy.
Project pages may include images and videos from external media servers, including our Notion content system. When you load them, the connection data needed to deliver the media is sent to the relevant provider. This allows us to present our work (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). External video players may require further consent. Information about Notion: Notion Privacy Policy.
Links to LinkedIn, GitHub and other websites open independent services. Their privacy notices explain how those services process data.
7. Retention and processing outside the EEA
We retain data according to its purpose: handling your enquiry, documenting your consent, operating the website securely and, where applicable, meeting legal retention and documentation obligations. Data is deleted when its purpose ends and no other reason for retention remains. You can request specific information about your data using the contact address above.
Some of these services operate internationally, and processing may take place outside the European Economic Area, particularly in the United States. The linked privacy notices describe processing locations and the safeguards stated by each provider. You can request information about the recipients and transfer mechanisms applicable to your data.
8. Your rights
Subject to legal requirements, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation. You may object to processing for direct marketing at any time.
You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, such as the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision.
Providing contact details is voluntary. Without the information needed for an enquiry or booking, we may be unable to process it.
